2 Unique Sides to New Jersey - Wildwood and Seaside Heights

One of the really cool things about living near the beaches of New Jersey is that on top of having instant access to the calm that the beaches often lend us, there is a sense of community amongst the people. It feels like we call it a home...together.
There are lots of places in New Jersey which is perfectly like that.

Wildwood, New Jersey

Wildwood New Jersey is collective name used to call 4 NJ boroughs.
  • Wildwood Crest
  • City of Wildwood
  • Borough of West Wildwood

Christmas for the Family in New Jersey

It is that wonderful, joyful time of the year again - Christmas! A time where family and loved ones come together and enjoy quality time by spending time with each other. With a rented charter bus, you can easily travel to locations in a group, minus the hassle of crowds, parking problems and traffic jam stress. So, get away from your hectic daily life and use this season to get all jolly with your loved ones and children.

Fun Festival of Lights

One popular place to visit for Christmas lights and more is the Johnsons Corner Farm. There is a Musical Light Show Hayride where it dances in time to Christmas music, but if you prefer something a little more relaxing, you can take the horse drawn hayride instead. Both adults and children alike would also have fun meeting Santa and his reindeer, and try a hand at decorating cookies while sipping a nice hot cup of chocolate.

Krug’s Tavern - The Best Burger In Newark

When it comes to a truly good burger, nothing beats what you can find on your plate in Krug’s Tavern which is located on 118, Wilson Avenue, Newark. Some of our rental bus charter New Jersey customers come out with their luxurious vehicles just to sample their daily fare which are sourced from reliable, local and fresh farmers. The Lomatta Family have been running and operating this amazing deli since 1932 and they have been at it since 1932. Our customers say that the burgers are not just ‘burgers’, the portion is absolutely so phenomenal that they are saved oversized sandwiches. They are also known for their strict standards when baking their own breads and sourcing for meats.
Is that all they serve - burgers? No, they do have a unique selection of seafood and regular dishes on their menu so, don’t worry if you are not the kind of fall for hearty burgers and fries. What stood out for us when we made a bus charter rental New Jersey stop at this true Newark gem is the recipe and how unique the sauces are. Considering the fact that the restaurant’s been in business since 1932, they have, of course, kept the recipe an absolute secret. The diner remains open throughout lunch, right down to happy hour and dinner. Suffice to say, the Lamotta family know a thing or two about establishing a connection with their customers, turning them into regulars and loyal supporters.
If you are a local Newark event organizer who is always looking for a good, reliable and affordable place to do up a meeting, event, or a gathering for your clientele, we strongly suggest putting Krug’s Burger into your list of options. We wouldn’t say that the place is suitable for kids at night but bringing your kids along with you for lunch is perfectly fine. It would have been perfect if there was outdoor seating so that you can enjoy the palatable meal outdoors while doing some people-watching It is located right smack in the middle of downtown area, after all, loads of people to watch.
What the locals would usually do is to come gather together with their family and friends to catch a game on TV. Yes, they have a large TV where you can watch the games comfortably, while enjoying your meal and drinks. The atmosphere is friendly, comfortable and cosy.
In the meantime, give us a call to find out how we can make your New Jersey bus rental charter vacation all the more easy, smooth sailing and convenient. At the end of your vacation, we think you will agree with us when we say - there is nothing like a Krug’s Tavern Burger.

Central Park Zoo

Much has been said about Central Park itself, being ranked as one of the top tourist destinations of New York City, but there is little information about the park’s small but interesting zoo. If you are bringing your little ones with you during your New York charter bus rental trip, DO check out the Central Park zoo. The gate and entrance isn’t too easy to find so, do either one....call ahead of time for instructions or get the map from the tourist center.
The Central Park zoo is a part of a rather large wildlife conservation program which begun with the Bronx Zoo. Hailed as a leader in wildlife conservation, it effectively earned its name because it was first started all the way back in the early days of the1900s when a conservation program such as this is pretty much rather unheard of. When the program was started, it had only one pathologist and one lone veterinarian department dealing with the growing number of animals in the park zoo. After much effort and money has been poured into the program, it boasts of many other different departments like a department for nutrition, and other veterinary programs.
The animals under the program’s care, on last count, is more than fifteen thousand but not every one of the animal can be found in the Central Park zoo, they are spread out into the various zoos around the country. The operations for Aquatic Animal Health Care, which is a branch of the program, is in charge of the New York Aquarium too. The Aquarium was just opened back in 2008 but is already attracting much attention and praise.
The zoo’s management is also very deep into animal enrichment which is a program to help exercise the animals’ minds and body - this program is in place to ensure that these animals in captive continue to retain their natural animal instinct despite being confined.
The Central Park zoo, despite lacking the space and number of exhibits, boasts of a very large penguin room which some consider as the main attraction of the zoo and they make their way to the grounds of the zoo specifically just to see the penguins during feeding and playing time. The kids will naturally have a ball learning about how the penguins feed, dive, swim and play with each other.
If you are making your way to this New York City charter bus rental attraction with a group of people, we strongly suggest that you give us a quick call to find out more about our amazingly affordable charter bus rental NYC services and packages. We look forward to serving you in the very near future.

Mehndi - Authentic Indian Cuisine In The Heart of New Jersey’s Morristown

Everywhere you go in New Jersey, there is great food and a good number of restaurants from all over the world and despite being a small town in New Jersey, with only less than twenty thousand households, there is no lacking of options as far as foodie fare is concerned.
You don’t have to been a foodie or a connoisseur in order to enjoy what Mehndi, an authentic Indian restaurant in the heart of Morristown. Mehndi is actually a temporary artwork done on the hands and feet of Asian and Middle East communities. They are temporary but they are extraordinarily detailed at the same time. These artwork is usually done during festivals and other special occasions.
Mehndi, as reviewed by some of our New Jersey charter bus rental customers, is upscale, so, you can expect ambiance, great food, excellent customer service and attention to details every time you are there. The chefs, as if they have the ability to read its patrons’ minds, knows exactly how to fix an authentic traditional recipe to suit our palate. In some other Indian restaurants, the chefs usually try too hard to Americanize their recipes, assuming that our delicate and untrained American palate will not be prepared for the spice that they are about to consume. Some failed, while others thrived. And we would like to say that Mehndi is one of those that have struck it right.
What is really awesome about the ambiance is the twenty three different Fortuny chandeliers hanging off of the concave ceiling...it really gives you a feeling of walking through an Indian dream. It radiates spiritual elegance and calm. And it was heard that the chandeliers were inspired by the twists and Indian turbines and were hand-painted right down to the last detail.
Another striking difference between the Indian dishes served at Mehndi and other ‘authentic’ Indian restaurants is the fact that it is not oily nor is it too spicy. Deep Frying and using too much oil is sometimes what is to be expected from an Indian restaurant and it has to do with how the food is traditionally prepared. But as mentioned, Mehndi chefs have read our minds and fine tuned the cooking method and recipe to make it ‘just right’.
The full-service bar presents New Jersey charter bus rental customers with a whole host of different drinks to try out, so, this place is absolutely a good choice when it comes to holding a party. And if you are lucky enough, there would be a henna artist available to work on the mehndi for your feet and hands.

A Good Workout at the Central Park

Exercise is important - especially for city people who are always in the office environment and rarely have the opportunity to go out for fresh air and work out the muscles of the body. Parks are a good place for a jog, running, cycling or simply just walking and enjoying the beauty of the parks. If you have been longing for a time to just stretch your legs and give your body muscles some good work out, it is about time you make plans to go Central Park. We suggest that you gather your friends or family members and rent a bus to take everyone there - to save time hunting for a parking spot.
As soon as you get off the rented New Jersey charter bus, you will notice the natural beauty of the Central Park - which happens to be one of the outstanding sights of New York City. In fact, Central Park is enormous in size and it has been said that parts of the park has even been the backgrounds of some movies!
Central Park is very well maintained and conserved and even though it looks to be a naturally beautiful park, a huge part of the park is actually man-made - except for the glacier protruding rocks. There were even claims that the amount of earth moved into the construction was even more than that compared to the Panama Canal! This is due to the oringial intention of the Central Park’s designers’ idea to make the park with many different types of landscapes as possible within the space given.
You can never run out of things to do at Central Park - and annually in the month of May, they will have lectures and workshops on the wildlife of winged animals such as red tailed hawks to the varieties of butterflies. The lectures and workshops will take place on the outdoor plaza, located right at mid-Park at 79th Street - something bird lovers would totally enjoy.
In fact, if your group of friends prefer to split up and go their own ways to do whatever they want at the park, it is not such a bad idea too. Everyone could always meet up later at an appointed time to go home together in the rented bus or an alternative option would be to meet up for a picnic session before going home in the bus. Whichever the choice may be, you can be sure that at the end of the day, you got what you came for - your muscles got their workouts after all!
